Social Responsibility Projects

Sümer Varlık Yönetim, emphasizes our corporate social responsibility principles and the importance and priority of the issue for our world.

As a part of its core values of respect and love for people, proximity to the public, it accepts acting with the awareness of social responsibility in all its activities as one of the basic elements of its management approach. We expect all our departments to manage the environmental and social impacts of their activities with a sense of responsibility and to prioritize the development of society. We should keep the scope of our social responsibility approach short with our business activities and their effects. We continue on our way by considering our top priorities in this regard and what is best for society and the environment.                                        

As Sümer Varlık Family, we strive for the development of our society within the framework of the principle of corporate social responsibility. We support our employees to volunteer for appropriate social and community activities in which they will take part with a sense of social responsibility.

Aid to Earthquake Victims

Through the Association of Financial Institutions, an earthquake aid donation was made to the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Turkey for the earthquake that occurred in Kahramanmaraş on February 06, 2023 and affected many provinces.

We wish God's mercy on our citizens who lost their lives in the earthquake that occurred in our country, and our condolences to their relatives and our nation.

Provinces:  Kahramanmaraş, Kilis, Diyarbakır, Adana, Osmaniye, Gaziantep, Elazığ, Şanlıurfa, Adıyaman, Malatya and Hatay

Support for the Tema Foundation Sapling Planting Campaign Launched for Forest Fires

In 2021, 2,793 forest fires occurred in Turkey. In these fires, 139 thousand 503 hectares of forest area were damaged and the fires that broke out especially in Manavgat and Marmaris could hardly be controlled. In Turkey's fight against fire, Sümer Varlık supported the sapling donation campaign initiated by the Tema Foundation.
